Monthly Meeting Summary - May 11th, 2026

Hi Neighbors,

Thank you to all who attended our recent Civic Association meeting. This session we had 18 attendees. 

You can find the presentation here. In this session, we discussed COTA's Zoo Bus, upcoming neighborhood events, and updates to our ongoing projects. 

Thank you to Michael Herman and Joyce Smith for volunteering to be on our Elections Committee! As a reminder, all board positions are up for vote this year. Nominations are open until the October meeting, voting will be held in the November meeting, and results will be announced in the December meeting. 

During our open floor, it was noted that LAVA-C elections are on July 1, and trees are still available through the Old Oaks grant. If you are interested in either of these, please let us know and we will get you more information. 

In the next few weeks, look out for more updates to the Old Oaks website! We will post survey results, summaries of all the board positions for those who may be interested in running, and continue to update event details as they come. These updates will also be posted in the Facebook group and through email.
